Hello and welcome to my new blog!
I am writing to you from the East of England, asleep in its winter sleep. The days are finally getting longer and although the coldest weeks are still ahead, you can already find lot's of joy in the English countryside.
Since moving to England over 20 years ago, I have always been on the lookout for snowdrops right after the New Year, with daffodils and tulips to follow soon after. This year however, they not only did not disappoint but made their first proud appearance already in December!
