It was an early morning in Cambridge. Light snow had been falling gently since midnight, leaving only a thin white layer on the ground.
I was not the only one capturing the moment. Cyclists, couples and random passers-by would stop to capture the moment. With everyone in awe, time stopped for a moment. Nobody spoke a word.
As I walked through Cambridge on the last day of my old job, I soaked in the early morning rush atmosphere. The bakery van was delivering freshly baked bread to a market stall, fruit and vegetables to a local shop, a shop assistant was cleaning the windows and a man was spreading sand on the slippery pavements. People were walking, cycling or arriving by bus to the city centre. It was quite an anticipation whether we would have real snow that day.
As I walked back that day, the air remained chilly but there was still no sign of snow.
The next day we flew to Spain..
Hope over to my Mediterranean Travels blog to follow my little Spanish trip and I will see you here on my blog soon. Take care!
